RoomRun ("we," "our," "us") is a technology platform that connects hotel guests ("Customers") with independent gig workers ("Runners") who perform local errand and delivery services in Las Vegas, Nevada. RoomRun is operated by RoomRun LLC, a Nevada limited liability company.
RoomRun is a platform only. We do not employ Runners, operate restaurants or stores, or guarantee the availability of any particular item. Runners are independent contractors, not employees of RoomRun.
You must be at least 18 years old to use RoomRun. By using the platform, you represent that you meet this requirement. Runners must additionally be legally authorised to work in the United States and reside in or near Las Vegas, Nevada.
When you place an order, you authorise RoomRun to charge your payment method a flat service fee of $12 USD (or the current fee displayed at checkout). This fee is charged at the time of order placement and is non-refundable once a Runner has been assigned to your order, except as provided in Section 3.3.
Your order describes what you would like a Runner to purchase on your behalf. RoomRun does not guarantee that specific items will be available, in stock, or match your description exactly. Runners use reasonable efforts to fulfil your request.
Deliveries are made to your hotel's designated rideshare pickup zone. RoomRun does not provide room delivery. Customers are responsible for meeting their Runner at the agreed location. If you are not present, the Runner may mark the delivery complete after a reasonable waiting period and no refund will be issued.
Estimated delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Factors including traffic, store wait times, and Runner availability may affect actual delivery time.
You may cancel your order for a full refund at any time before a Runner is assigned to your order. Once a Runner has been assigned, orders cannot be cancelled and fees are non-refundable except at our sole discretion.
If your order was not fulfilled due to circumstances within our control, please contact us at hello@roomrunapp.com within 24 hours. We review all refund requests and will respond within 2 business days.
Refunds, when approved, are returned to your original payment method and typically appear within 5-10 business days depending on your card issuer.
A 4-digit delivery confirmation code is provided to you at the time of order. You must share this code with your Runner to confirm delivery. Do not share your code until your Runner has arrived at the rideshare zone and handed you your order. RoomRun is not responsible for failed deliveries caused by sharing the code prematurely.
Runners are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or partners of RoomRun. You set your own hours, choose which orders to accept, and are free to work for other platforms. RoomRun does not control the manner or means by which you perform services, except as necessary to maintain service quality and safety standards.
As an independent contractor, you are solely responsible for all taxes arising from payments received through RoomRun, including self-employment taxes. RoomRun does not withhold taxes on your behalf.
Runners receive 60% of the customer flat fee per completed delivery (currently $7.20 per order, subject to change). Payment is processed after successful delivery confirmation via the 4-digit code. Payout timing depends on your payment method and may take up to 5 business days.
Runners agree to: (a) fulfil orders with reasonable care and promptness; (b) purchase items accurately as described; (c) not consume, open, or tamper with items; (d) maintain professional conduct with Customers; (e) comply with all applicable laws; and (f) not accept orders while impaired.
RoomRun reserves the right to deactivate any Runner account for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct that harms Customers or the RoomRun platform.
Runners are issued a single-use virtual payment card loaded with the estimated purchase amount for each order. This card may only be used for the specific purchase it was issued for. Misuse of the virtual card is grounds for immediate account deactivation and may result in legal action.
You may not use RoomRun to: purchase alcohol for minors; purchase controlled substances; order anything illegal; circumvent our payment systems; create fake accounts; or engage in any activity that violates applicable law or these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoomRun's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim. RoomRun is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
RoomRun is not responsible for: the actions or omissions of Runners; the quality, safety, or accuracy of items purchased; losses caused by events outside our reasonable control; or your failure to be present at the delivery location.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of RoomRun shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Clark County, Nevada, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive your right to a jury trial or class action proceeding.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of RoomRun after changes constitutes acceptance.

When you place an order, we collect: your first name; phone number; hotel name and room number; order description; payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card numbers); and order history associated with your phone number.
When you create a Runner account, we collect: your name, email address, date of birth, phone number, and home address. We also collect your delivery history, earnings, and account activity. Passwords are stored using industry-standard bcrypt hashing — we cannot read your password.
When you use RoomRun, we may automatically collect: device type and browser information; IP address; usage data such as pages visited and features used; and order timestamps and status updates.
We use the information we collect to: process and fulfil your orders; connect Customers with Runners; process payments and issue refunds; communicate with you about your order; improve our platform; comply with legal obligations; and prevent fraud and abuse.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you make a payment, your card details are transmitted directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy. Runner virtual cards are issued through Stripe Issuing.
We share limited information in these circumstances:
With Runners: When a Runner claims your order, they receive your first name, room number, phone number, and order description. Your delivery code is not shared with the Runner until you reveal it in person.
With service providers: We use Supabase for database hosting, Stripe for payments, and Netlify for hosting. These providers have access to your data only as necessary to provide their services and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
For legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of RoomRun, our users, or the public.
We retain Customer order data for 2 years from the date of the order. Runner account data is retained for the duration of your account and for 3 years after deactivation for tax and legal purposes. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us (subject to legal retention requirements).
Depending on your location, you may have rights including: the right to access the personal information we hold about you; the right to correct inaccurate information; the right to request deletion of your information; and the right to opt out of certain data uses.

We use industry-standard security measures including: bcrypt password hashing; encrypted database connections (TLS); Stripe's PCI-compliant payment processing; and row-level security on our database. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
RoomRun is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated to registered Runners by email.
